I think it means that you should treat everyone equally and everyone is different and you should treat everyone how you want to be treated.

Like Mia, I think it means that all people are created equal and though people might have differences, that is good. One thing I don't understand is why they put they's words on a treaty for the British.

I think that this means that everyone is equal and all people are diferent, but not bad. What I don't understand is that if you wrote a document, saying that all people are equal and everyone should be happy, why did they make people go out and fight wars, why did they make slaves do their work? I dont think that fighting wars and dying would be very fun, or doing someones work if all people are equal isnt very fair either.
